The GREEN smoothie

So yes, THIS is nothing new. In fact, apparently I'm a little behind on this trend. Well truth is, I've heard about these for quite some time now, however....Look at it. Seriously? You think THAT tastes good??

 I just haven't been able to bring myself around to forcing that ish down my throat. So one day while browsing the wonderful site we call "Pinterest" I came across this concoction. It promised me that if I drank one a day I would "Shed pounds". Uh huh..... sure. Ok, I totally fell for it though. The ingredients looked like something I could eat. So I attempted to make it, and much to my surprise. It was good. Like pretty darn good. Pretty soon I started replacing one meal with it, usually lunch. And it was holding me over til dinner. It's VERY filling. And the results? Does it work? I know your dying to know.... 

I lost 4 lbs in my FIRST WEEK!! 

Pinterest, you've done it again. You got me!!!

Recipe:
1 apple, cored, peeled, sliced
1 banana 
1 orange
5 strawberries (I used frozen- way more convenient)
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1 large handful spinach

Blend in blender and ENJOY!!
